Taylor Dayne is in Auckland this weekend to take part in 80s Mania at the ASB Theatre. She’ll be sharing the stage with Paul Young, Wang Chung, Cutting Crew and Go West on Sunday night.
Kiwi couple Hayden and Rachel Donnell have upped stakes and moved to London in an attempt to build their career. Before they left New Zealand, they recorded The Golden Age, a beautifully realized collection of songs that address regret, loss, redemption, and what Hayden calls, “the tyranny of nostalgia”.
Galveston is the new Auckland-based band formed by former Garageland frontman Jeremy Eade. The trio is completed by bassist Sean Reid and drummer Rick McShane.
