We Will Ride Fast – Unfurl Your Weeds (ft Frances Ellen): 13th Floor New Song Of The Day

We Will Ride Fast’s Post-Punk Ontological Investigation continues into 2026 with the release of new single Unfurl Your Weeds, an upbeat remake of 2020’s The Weeds.

Here is the blurb with more:

Someone commented on the YouTube version of the original by pondering: “I wonder what this would sound like sped up?”, and this is where it landed. On Unfurl Your Weeds, We Will Ride Fast is once again joined by Tauranga based alt‑melodic pop songwriter Frances Ellen.

Blending shimmering alt-pop sheen with raw indie rock drive, Unfurl Your Weeds hits like a neon pulse in the dark. With a modern day New Order-style groove, the track fuses propulsive rhythms and atmospheric textures with surreal lines about “psycho cosmic swirls” and “sleeping seas.”

Beneath the haze, it’s a sharp call out to the quiet fears and inner “weeds” that run the show. Instead of hiding from them, We Will Ride Fast leans in tearing through inhibition, overthinking, and self doubt. Urgent, hypnotic, and unapologetic, “Unfurl Your Weeds” is a liberation anthem for anyone ready to drop the mask and live loud.

We Will Ride Fast is the musical outlet of singer/multi-instrumentalist and multi-disciplinary artist Kyle Sattler.
